Diaphragm seal in High pressure gas line and connection sizes

Hi

1. Can someone  guide on requirement of Diaphragm seal in High pressure gas line.

2. Also what will be the typical connection sizes to be considered for Pressure transmitter with respect to Line sizes.

Any standard reference for above 2 queries is appreciated.

  • Hello Suhas,

I will need some additional information.  Regarding your first question:

    • What is the size and type of process connection for this application?
    • What are your operating pressures and temperatures?

    For your second question:

    • Rosemount coplanar style transmitters use 1/4 - 18 NPT or 1/2 - 14 NPT connections
    • Rosemount In-Line (T-style) transmitters use 1/4-18 female NPT or G1/2 A DIN 16288 Male connections.  Autoclave is also used on high-pressure transmitters > 10,000 psi.
    • Remote seals can also be attached to any transmitter to get additional flanged, threaded, or hygienic connections.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Michael
