Diaphragme Sealed type pressure transmitter zero shifting

Hi All!

I have a question about Rosemount 2051 Pressure Transmitter Diaphragme Sealed with capillary tube. This PT has been calibrated for routine maintenance and there was no any adjusment due to good as found value. But, when it was installed back to the line and was in service around 7 days, there was a difference value about 7 barg from its local Pressure Gauge. Then it was taken for re-calibration. It was found that the zero was shifted to -6.9barg. We are curious about this. This happen to almost all of capillary pressure transmitter we had.

During routine calibration, the line was shut down for 2 weeks. Line temperature is quite high around 250 deg C. Is there any effect to the fill fluid for this temperature change? Could this alter the zero until -7 barg?

Thanks a lot anyway.

Cheers,

Wicak
