IEC-61511 came up with new revision of standard that included the specific guidance and requirements on BPCS. An explicit provision for two layers in the BPCS was the major addition to IEC-61511 Clause 9. I was wondering if any guidance or experience that group has on the subject how to achieve two layers based on IEC 61511 or CCPS guidelines ?
We are exploring options of having another credit that can be considered within the guidance provided by IEC61511 Clause 9.3 or ISA TR84.04. Interested in knowing, if this was implemented at any DeltaV installed site and specifically using the DeltaV Charms.
