PCSD Device name on screen for ISEL block AI2

I have two temps feeding an ISEL block used in an average scenario within a module. The output of the ISEL feeds a PID. It is a PCDS 2 Input Select PID Control Module V13.0.0.

On the graphic, both AIs inherit the name of the module where the ISEL resides. Is there a way in PCSD to rename the temperature variable on the graphic for AI2 into the ISEL? I want the graphic to show a different device name for AI2 compared to AI1 into the ISEL.

Thanks

  • You can use the Friendly Name on the Dynamo to enter this and then select Friendly Name from the tool bar for Display Option (The button has <> and to the right of the System Time setting).

You can pre-set this setting from UserSettings script by uncommenting the line frsVariables.ShowTag.CurrentValue = 0 and then change the 0 to 3 to start Operate with the Friendly Tag setting.

In the module you can also change the INPUT_1, INPUT_2, etc parameters to show a different text as well on the graphics.
