How do I configure a PIN (Pulse Input) function block for shaft RPM.
How do I wire pulse device to a Series 2 Multifunction I/O Card installed in backplane as card #5 with an MDPlus controller.
The pulse generator is a CAT magnetic speed pick up generating up to 2500HZ, voltage of 12Vac across its terminals. Do I wire this directly to the multifunction card via an SD32 barrier just like that? I have one speed sensor wired this way to terminals 25/26 of the I/O card but it seems not to record any frequency at the DCS. Please help.
