PHVE Plot Method

Does anyone know how I can alter the PHVE Documents located in DVData-Charts-lib?  I am looking to change the plot method for MOD/OUT.CV, when phve is lauched from the trend is plotted as step regardless of the method selected in control studio. When I launch the document or template from the lib folder and select the parameter I would like to alter, the option to change the plot method is grayed out. I may be going at this wrong so any ideas or direction would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

  Open the standard chart from within PHV (File -> Open -> AI_fp.phve) and make modifications, then save.  Any module referencing the lib phve should be updated.

  That is what I had been attempting to do but when I right click on the parameter from the legend and click on plot method the various plot methods are not available to be selected. I haven't found anywhere to change the plot method other than right clicking on the parameter, is there somewhere else you know of?

  Do you have the key for CHART_SAVE function security for the DeltaV account that you are logged in with?
  
  Default is Can Configure but you would need to see what it is configured for your system.

  After opening the library chart, change the tag substitution reference MOD to a genuine module tag. The options to change plot method are then available. Change them as required then change the genuine module tag back to MOD before saving.
  
  Note the standard library chart files are set to Read-only so you need to remove this first before opening, then reapply it. Also a good idea, as always, is to make a backup copy of the chart file!

  User is administrator but went ahead and double checked the key and it was assigned correctly. The chart was for a custom module template not a standard and was not read-only but I hadn't thought to look for the read-only so thank you for that reminder. I did as you said and changed the MOD to a valid tag, plot method then became available, changed the plot method, changed tag reference back to MOD, saved and pushed charts out to the workstations. Clearly not a mission critical problem to have but Cedric you have saved the operators and myself from staring at the step plot method and I cannot thank you enough!
