DeltaV 13.3.1 installation

I am working on a project using DeltaV 13.3.1 in a small team. The installation of DeltaV on a Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB is done. Now we are having a problem with the alarm banner and faceplates having a DVCtrlAlmSum component not being initialised correctly.

The team asked for access to guardian support, but no full response was received after more than a week.

The question is what has to be installed with (and before) DeltaV?

What version of Microsoft Office (2016?) is to be installed?

  Office should always be installed before DeltaV. Not sure about v13, but in v12, even though you could have 64-bit Windows, you had to install 32-bit Office, because the DeltaV Excel plugins were not working on 64-bit Office.

  Thanks for you answer. I installed Office before installing DeltaV. Still the DVCtrlAlmSum does not initialise, and is not shown, neither in Run, nor in Configure mode.
  Which 'level' Office (Student, Business, Professional, ??) is to be installed? Has the DVCtrlAlmSum been changed between v11 and v13, needing Office as a mandatory program?
  (As I do not (yet) have access to Guardian support, I do not have access to the Release Notes for this version.)

  Correction, If Office is to be installed, it should be installed prior to installing DeltaV. Office is not required on DeltaV stations...

  Office, as a package, is not supported on DeltaV nodes. You need to look at the release notes, under the compatibility section, for the version of DeltaV you are running to find which versions of Excel, Access etc... are supported. Installing the entire Office suite is well known to cause issues with DeltaV.
