I upgraded my DeltaV system from R5 to R5.1. When i have R5, i accidently downgrade Profbus DP card from SW Rev. 1.46 to 1.28 and after that i try to upgrade it to previous SW Rev. it is not upgrading.
So i upgrade system to R5.1 and then i try to upgrade again it remain same to SW Rev. 1.28.
How i'll be able to upgrade it to higher version??

The reason it is not upgrading is that you have only fw ver. 1.28 in the system. You need to get the latest upgrade file from your Emerson Local Business Partner (LBP) for North America representative and Field Service Office (FSO) for other world area or you can call into Global Service Center (GSC) to obtain it. Once you get that file(s), follow the procedure in Book Online where to place that file and redo the flash upgrade. Note: if you upgrade to this new fw 1.46, you might need to install some hot fixes for the controller and system to get your systme up to par with this fw for the profibus. LBP, FSO, or GSC knows of this and should be able to help. I suggest that you use one of them so you don't take a chance messing up your database. Kind Regards, Tinh
