Mynah write commands

Hello Everyone,

I have to interface mynah with a simplex flow computer.Prior to that i am testing it with a modbus tester.Through this i am only able to read the values but not able to write. Not even the values of my mynah resgisters are changing(which should at the first place). If i keep my output dataset in a readback form, even then it is not able to write, however if now i change the register in the modbus simulator, the values are read back in my mynah registers but the reverse is not done. There is no error in the deltav diagnostics and the status of datasets are good. How to troubleshoot this?

  • Have you checked the Special data set registers ? you need to configure this as per your requirement.Check the mynah document.

Karma doesn't have any menu, you get serve what you deserve.

  • Maybe the flow computer is continuously writing 0 to it's register (internal logic/calculation). And maybe this is why you have the filling you are not able to write.

Yes,i have checked it.Since i am checking through modbus sim,i have kept everything simple.
  • I have checked the vimnet explorer diagnostics & under the device section,it is not showing any informatiom(viz comm parameters etc) & simply displaying the page in yellow colour?
I hvae flashed mynah with 421 &430,what work do these files perform? Is this some firmware issue?

Not sure if this helps, but any way:
I have faced similar issue if the module reading / writing to to the serial interface registers is NOT executing in the same controller as where the DataSet's to the field device are configured. All read parameters worked perfectly, but writing was just "blocked" without any error or findings in Diagnostic.
