I'm having an issue with DeltaV Explorer when checking Foundation Fieldbus I/O modules. Please note that I'm running DeltaV version 11.3 on a server with Windows Server Standard (Service Pack 2). When I browse to all other part of my system, Explorer behaves normally; however once I select any one of my 3 Fieldbus H1 modules, I get the following error:
"An error occurred.
Reason: The server threw an exception."
From that point on, I receive errors anytime I try to select anything else. Consistently, the first error is:
"The remote procedure call failed"
Then every subsequent error after that one is:
"The RPC server is unavailable"
I continue getting that error until I close and restart DeltaV Explorer.
Obviously, without DeltaV Explorer, I'm unable to commission or decommission any equipment/instrumentation, so this is of great concern to me. Any insight provided would be tremendously appreciated!
