Good day.
Does anyone on this forum have a DeltaV system with some PROVOX I/O Interface controllers? If so, I have a couple questions relating to how downloading one of the I/O cards affects the channels. I am new to my plant and have never worked with these cards. I can't find any documentation specifically related to my questions.
Q1: When downloading a DI, AI or SMART Input card for a change to a single channel configuration, what happens to the remaining channels? Do they go into error, hold last value, or something else?
Q2: Does the same thing happen to an output card?
I appreciate any experience you may have on this matter.
