Analog Output Channel Behavior during download

In a DeltaV S series controller, what is the behavior of analog output channels when making changes to unused channels on the same card? For example- I have a 16 channel, HART, Analog Out card and want to use a channel that is currently unused. When I enable and download the card, are the other channels impacted and if so how? Thanks

    Downloading the card should not affect your other channels. If one of the other channels already has a bad status, the bad status (pvbad or equivalent) alarm will re-initiate/alarm. I have not had a disruption in control to date and have downloaded a lot of AO cards but M & S series thru multiple versions of DeltaV .
