I'm assuming the alarms were present in the queue before you decommissioned the valves? The easiest way to get rid of these is to re-commission the valves, acknowledge the alarms, and then decommission the devices. In some cases, a total controller download will also clear these alarms from the queue, but I haven't had 100% reliability with this approach.

If you're not able to re-commission the devices, and a total download doesn't help you, you can create a control module with the same name as your FF device tag, create an alarm in that module named COMM_ALM, assign that module to the controller where the Fieldbus devices were previously commissioned, and clear the COMM_ALM via the control module. I've had good luck with this approach of "tricking" the alarm subsystem.
