Decommissioned Fieldbus Devices "Initializing"

Hello my fellow Control System,

I'm interested in your thoughts on the problem with my fieldbus instrument, which is stuck initializing. As you can see in the image below, my Fieldbus P01 shows four pieces of equipment, one of which has previously been deactivated. For the temperature transmitter status of "Normal," but the other 3 are stuck on initializing, appearing, and disappearing. Since we want to be confident of the issue's source, we have already tried swapping the port at TT on site, but the outcome is still the same. Please advice.

  No AMS? I thought all DeltaV DCS shipped with the corresponding AMS software . . .
  First thing I'd look at is diagnostics (right-click the port, select diagnostics).
  In Diagnostics, right-click the port and the troubled devices and display the port / device communications statistics. Note any stats that are out of tolerance ("Help" explains what might be an issue).
  Take the MicroMotion off the segment and see if the problems subside. I have had more than one 2700 that impacted segment communication. If the issues return when you reconnect it, have a word with the manufacturer (get a replacement).
  Check the physical layer statistics with some manner of bus tester (TREX, I think 475's had some, FBT-6, Fluke) and look for issues like noise or power supply. Again I would add devices one-by-one and see if a specific device or spur seems to be the culprit.
