Where I can found the Update wizard for Fhx.

Hi,

I am new with DeltaV.I am trying to open old project in DeltaV12.3.But it required Up gradation wizard.Can anyone tell me where it is?

Any link to download?

Or is it Available with Installation?

    Under the DeltaV Database Administrator (Start->DeltaV->Engineering->Database Administrator) there is a Migrate Configuration. This utility will upgrade the FHX from a previous DeltaV version so it can be imported into a v12 system but you will need to manually upgrade controllers, cards, CIOCs etc.

    There is also an Upgrade wizard but I haven't used this is quite some time. This is typically used during the installation of DeltaV but I almost exclusively use the manual Migrate Configuration option.

    I would suggest Matt's first part of the answer. Application for the database migration is dvmig.exe and it is present in the C:\DeltaV\bin (or installation directory).

    DeltaV upgrade wizard is present in the second DVD of the DeltaV installation and it is generally used for a complete upgrade of the workstation. The wizard uses same dvmig.exe to migrate the configuration. Now, this dvmig.exe exists in the second disk of DeltaV as well (e.g. DeltaV 11.3 disk 2 will have dvmig.exe for that version).
