Where I can read about SFC?

I can't find detailed information about Sequental Function Chart.

Books Online contains one or two pages about it.

Where I can see the manual with examples?

  Books Online is the manual and the only examples I believe are under the Batch Tutorial where it has you configure an AGITATE phase (which uses an SFC for Run, Hold and Restart logic).

  Here is the path to get there within Books Online: Batch -> Batch Tutorial -> AGITATE phase logic configuration

  Other options:

  • Google Search "Sequential Function chart examples", there are alot of images that show examples that can help (although not exactly the same syntax for logic but pretty close)
  • Take a class from Emerson Educational Services - DeltaV Implementation I 7009 which covers the base level DeltaV configuration as well as SFCs
