  • Deykar,

All gateway drivers for both series of the VIM1 and VIM2 are purchased products from MYNAH Technologies. There is a 1:1 ratio between driver and VIM which means an individual driver must be purchased for each VIM. I would be happy to assist you in this purchase, if needed. For more information, please email me directly at spencer.absher@mynah.com or call MYNAH Technologies at +1-636-728-2000.

    Deykar,

The Modbus TCP/IP firmware (or driver) for the VIM2 is a purchased product from MYNAH Technologies. Emerson loads the simulation firmware on all VIMs and all other firmware (Modbus, Ethernet IP, FMC 722) is purchased from MYNAH Technologies. It is not possible to have a user upload the Modbus firmware to a forum as this is against the licensing agreement.

but the company I work for has licenses Mynah VIM but then do not know how serious the procedure so that we can purchase to upgrade the firmware for Modbus TCP VIM2.

Might if you help me in this regard.

    Deykar,

While your company may own firmware licenses for other VIMs, each individual VIM requires its own firmware. A new firmware purchase of Ethernet/IP or Modbus is required for each new VIM. I will contact you about methods to purchase the firmware.
