When I try and open DeltaV operate I get a series of error messages about invalid paths like "The Pic_Path \\COMPUTERNAME\DVDATA\GRAPHICS-IFIX\PIC is invalid" I get a similar one for Sched_Path though that one is looking for PDB, PDB_Path which is of course looking for the PDB folder, This doesn't keep Operate Configure from opening but then it can't find the various .fxg files like FactoryGlobals.fxg. I've done the SCU Paths setup but none of these files are in that list and I have pointed the Database and Picture paths to my \\WINDOWS-5NZDRLN\DVDATA\GRAPHICS-IFIX with WINDOWS-5NZDRLN being the name of the ProPlus. Any ideas why this isn't working?
Bruce - I typically recommend AGAINST using UNC paths, just in case you lose DNS resolution. If you change these to C:\DeltaV\DVData\Graphics-iFix\Pic and C:\DeltaV\DVData\Graphics-iFix\PDB, you might have better luck. Also, any changes to the SCU require a workstation reboot.
