I have installed version 7.4 simulate as I have a client who is still running this version. I previously had it running a few years back but for whatever reason when I go into DeltaV setup it will not look at the A: drive (floppy) to load the license key.
I have an external usb Floppy drive. The computer see's the drive within My Computer and also I am able to access the files on the drive. However when I click LOAD in the setup I get nothing showing up. I have tried disconnecting the drive and reconnecting it then I click on load as soon as the drive starts accessing the disk in the drive. This has also been unsuccessful.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@ Louise : Please, detail your hardware machine, because suggestions depend on it. i.e. :
- HardLock key type : Parallel or USB port
- Are you using a virtual machine (VMware or Windows virtual machine) or a direct machine ?
- Windows versioning

Hi, check if you have the Alladin drivers installed.
In VMvare, you do not see your physical hard drive!! only the "shared" folder you have to specify in WM.
You can copy the license through this folder to the WM virtual harddrive.
