DeltaV gave Windows Warning Error Number: -2147024888 (80070008) "Not enough storage is available to process this command"

Hi;

We have Emerson DeltaV Ver 11.3.1. We are facing issues of slow response and Operator Station system hanging issues.

Usually Storage error appeared and DCS screen just stopped responding on Boardman commands or clicks.

To temporary resolve the issue, we restarted the Operator Station.

Can any one share the possible causes and remedial actions, plz.

  There are a lot of causes for this issue like configuration issues, virus in the system, incompatible software installed, dying hardware, and others. You may want to review and check the changes to the system before this issue came out.
  
  I have encountered this in a development system a couple of years ago while working on graphics for a customer. I later found out that there is an issue with the script (VBA) on one of the graphics that it is referencing an unknown parameter. Not sure why VBA did not show any errors when running the script. In case there are graphics or scripting changes were done before the issue is encountered it is helpful to review those changes and see if they have something to do with the issue.
