WARNING: IMPORT ERROR

Hi,

I got error when I try to import Full backup FHX as some modules are not importing to DeltaV explorer

most of those tags are class made.

what could be the root Couse for this error?

Adding Type: MODULE: Name: 33XZA0010
1: WARNING: Unable to Create Alarm Help. System does not contain a Professional+ node.
2: WARNING: Error creating Alarm Help information
3: WARNING: IMPORT ERROR: IMPORT of MODULE with key 33XZA0010 FAILED at line:7913032 column:54. This could cause other serious import errors for related items in this file. Import is now resuming at the next item in the file.

  • Yo can look at the specified line in the FHX file with notepad ++ and see what it is trying to import. Often the database is missing a engineering unit, named set, alarm type or alarm priority. I have noticed that not always all these items are correctly imported with a full import. I worked around it by import / create these missing items seperately and then redo the full import.
  • In reply to Pieter Degier:

Many often you have to do a second import on the first , because of the order of import, some modules can not be imported because Library is not already import .....let try a second time after the first and probably the missing modules will be import
  • The error message indicates your database does not have a Pro+ node. What type of system are you importing to? Is your new Pro+ name different than your old? Did you create the new database with the "Preserve Network Configuration" option? Answering these might help us understand why the system was unable to find a Pro+ in your new database.
  • In reply to Matt Forbis:

Agree with Matt. Alarm Help is created/stored in the Pro Plus, so if this node has not been created in your database, this object cannot be created in that node. Is this new database on a new computer with a new name? Did you add the Pro Plus to this database before you started the import?

If the machine name is different, you need to create and download the pro plus before you start the import. The Pro plus in the FHX will be discarded as it does not match the computer name. If the computer name is the same, the Pro Plus may now exist and needs to be downloaded, and running the FHX again would allow this failed item to import.

You need a functioning, downloaded Pro Plus in your database, so that would be the first thing that needs to be resolved. It should be successfully downloaded. Then run your import again.

Resolved, thanks all for the supporting. I do the work configuration, then, I download the proplus. Then, I import the FHX. All modules are updated in new system.
