DVC6030 - HART Not Communicating at 20mA with SLS Two-state output channel?

A DVC6030 is wired to the DeltaV SLS 1508 Card with channel configuration as HART two-state output channel.

When we simulated 20mA, the HART communication lost.

What could be the reason?

A. Is it because the DVC6030 is without ESD tier and firmware is below rev. 6?

B. Is it because there's not enough pressure in port A?

C. Is it because the DVC6030 is defective?

D. Others, pls. specify.

Thanks for your answers.

  • Assume you meant DeltaV SIS

  • What do you mean by "simulate 20mA". Specifically

Yes, force the CAS_IN in the LSDVC block with 1. The block was assigned to a two-state output channel.
