hi,i have a fisher dvc6000 positioner installed on a single acting direct actuator, how can i locked the valve in last position in case of losing loop power?
thank u so much
Hi Alikarimi,
There is an Instruction Manual supplement on the "Implementation of Lock‐in‐Last Strategy" for both the DVC6000 and DVC6200 that may help you. This document outlines the various strategies to implement when you lost loop current /or supply air for both single and double acting actuators. Hope you will find it useful. Let me know if you need any clarifications.

In reply to Soon Peng Goh:
hi dear soon peng goh and thank u for introducing that document,
i read it but it needs an electronic switch( Phoenix Contact Dual Setpoint Module) which i dont have access to it so could u tell me another way(speacially use of mechanichal accessories and only dvc6000)without changing the cable path.
best regards
It sounds to me that your preference leans toward a solution via pneumatic means for lock-in-last in an event you lose loop current. We do have a solution using a reverse-acting Fisher 846 I/P transducer and a Type 164A Three-Way switching valve. I have a few slides that I can share if you would send an e-mail to me at SoonPeng.Goh.Emerson.com, below is a snap-shot of a DVC2000 (single acting) on a GX valve at lost of power condition (0 mA).
