I'm new with ovation and I want to study my plant control sheet and control macros like dual valve, medium voltage motor. Any software to do it something like simulink maybe
Hi Abdul - Ovation does offer various power plant simulator solutions that can help train operators and also test control logic. Based on your question, my guess is that Ovation empirical simulation would be the best solution for what you need. It will generically model your plant by using the control system algorithms. Of course, I cannot determine what you may or may not already have installed on your Ovation system. As such, it might be worth a conversation with your local Ovation representative to compare what you have installed with what you might need.
I hope this gives you a little more insight.

Hi Mr. Greg Schirm, First of all, thank you very much for assistance on getting ovation users account. about simulator, our power plant indeed have a plant simulator for our operator but I'm not quite sure does it include a software to verify or validate the logic in control sheet. For example I have a Control Macros for medium voltage motor, it has start stop input from keyboard, auto start, auto stop, start override, etc. suppose I want to make the auto start logic true, what is the interaction all of the logic inside the control macros of medium voltage motor. Its more like boolean simulator but have atleast similar algorithm reference i.e oneshot algorithm.
Looking at your suggestions about empirical solution maybe that a little overkill for me to study as a beginner. It seems this software geared toward for Overall Equipment Effectiveness/improving production etc.
Regards, Abdul
