Ovation Network Protocols/Ports

Greetings!

I am a researcher working to develop a Wireshark dissector chain to perform security analysis in an Ovation network.

I need information regarding proprietary packet formats, fields therein, default ports, and generally any technical details regarding network traffic in this environment.

  Hey Dominick, my first impression is "who would ask for proprietary packet formats" about a DCS on a public forum? My one and only reaction is this must be a hacker.
  
  If this is legit, I'd say you need to be more discreet about what you ask for, and make contact directly with Emerson. This forum is by no means secure. No one should be posting Emerson proprietary data here.
