horizontal layout file 1650x1050 dv 14.3.1 two monitors

Could someone help me to create the layout file like bellow in deltav operate 14.3.1. We want to use 12 pictures for two monitors like bellow but i saw that the secondary monitor has just 5 pictures and not 6 as we want.

Is it possible ? Has someone a kba or at least the name for kba where the arrangement of layout file is described?

Monitor 1 Monitor 2
Picture 1 = Monitor Toolbar  Picture 7 = Monitor Toolbar
Picture 2 = Plant HMI Picture 4 alarm list  Picture 8 = Plant HMI Missing (alarm list)
Picture 5 batch alarms Picture 10 batch alarms
Picture 6 Batch prompt Picture 11 Batch prompt
Picture 3 = Alarm banner Picture 9 = Alarm banner

  • We modified the template for the first monitor but we do not know how to make it for the second one.

Make sure the missing alarm list picture has a different filename than the Monitor 1 alarm list picture.

how can we do that? in the layout the picture 12 is used by User 1 ; monitor 1 - 6 pictures, monitor 2 - 5 pictures, if we comment user 1, will the 12 th picture go where we want it to go?

User 1 and User 2 are typically Monitors 3 and 4. DeltaV Operate does not allow the same graphic to be displayed on more than one monitor. If you want the same graphic on another monitor, you need to make a copy of it (using DeltaV Operate Config, not using a Windows copy) and use the copy on the other monitor.

Could you be more specific please? If picture 12 is for 3'th monitor, then what coud i do?
3'th monitor has pictures 12-16, 4'th monitor has 17 - 21 , then i could name my picture 22 and used it to display a copy of wanted file in the correct position? So for the second monitor i have to make a copy of each file i want to display (except HMI itself) with the difference that the missing picture will be 22 and not 12?

Yes, when you make picture 22, make sure you Save As picture 12 to picture 22 using DeltaV Operate. Do not copy the file and rename it to picture 22 using Windows Explorer.

Did you try changing your [Default Pictures] Count = 12? Add picture 12 to below Secondary monitor pictures, and adjust the position x, y, height, and width. Also make sure the picture names are the same in both sections of the layout file.
