We use DVOP in part of our plant. On the DVOP server there is a box to check for DeltaV-style alarm processing. If this box is checked what effect does it have on the alarm summary list page and alarm banners? My real question is by checking the box does it still use Provox PPA/PMA/etc with plant states to get the alarm priority? If it does use Provox PPA style alarming, what advantage is there by checking the box? If it doesn't use PPAs then what plant state is used to determine the priority?
