Cannot Delete unavailable Commissioned CSLS

I commissioned one CSLS with my SZ controller for testing. Then this CSLS was moved to another place so its not available now. How can i remove unavailable Commissioned CSLS from my database now. My DeltaV Version is 14.3.1. Please help me to remove this device.

  • In order to move the CSLS to another Local Safety Network (LSN), or even to another system, you have to Decommission and then Unassign the Logic Solver, before moving it.
    If you haven't done it, and the physical Logic Solver have already been Assigned and Commissioned to another LSN or System, you'll have to contact the GSC to help you .
  • Provided solution:
    Actual Status of Logic Solver: Decommissioned (blinking Error LED)
    Status of Logic Solver in the Database: Commissioned (with Red X in DeltaV Explorer)
     
    When the Logic Solver is in this state, it will not be possible to decommission or download the logic solver from DeltaV Explorer.
     
    Solution:
     
    1.    Close all DeltaV Applications in the Proplus.
    2.    Open the Registry Editor in the Proplus.
    3.    Go to HKey_Local_Machine | Software | FRSI | DeltaV | Current Version
    4.    Create a new key named “EnableLogicSolverCardDownload”
    5.    Open DeltaV Explorer.
    6.    Select the affected Logic Solver and download “Logic Solver Commission Data”

    For 64-bit OS:
    1.    Close all DeltaV Applications in the Proplus.
    2.    Open the Registry Editor in the Proplus.
    3.    Go to HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Wow6432Node\FRSI\DeltaV\Current Version
    4.    Create a new key named “EnableLogicSolverCardDownload”
    5.    Open DeltaV Explorer.
    6.    Select the affected Logic Solver and download “Logic Solver Commission Data”
    7.    Remove the new key named "EnableLogicSolverCardDownload" from the registry

    The issue was resolved after downloading the commission data of the logic solver.
