VCAT can be temporarily disabled?

Hi 

We have VCAT enabled in the system, however commissioning tasks will be carried out soon where we will have a lot of activity in the database, so I ask if it is possible to disable VCAT while these tasks last and then enable it again?

    I remember that you can disabled it and re-enabled it with an Admin account. Note: I believe you need to stop and start your DB connection everytime you do this. Read the DeltaV BOL(book online) and it might give you some instruction how to do this.
