Hi, We are running DeltaV V14.3 with all of our operator stations virtualized. The problem we are have is that from time to time a node needs to be rebooted. Even if you are logged onto the VM as an account with domain administrator & deltav admistrator access, you can't reboot the VM from the Windows desktop at the thin client. If you run a command prompt and use the "shutdown /r" command, you get an access denied error. The only way we have been able to reboot a VM is by logging into the console via Virtual Studio. Is there another way to do this? We do not want to have all of our shift maintenance personnel going into virtual studio.
