Operator windows access

We are using DeltaV version 12.3.1 and do not have a domain.  The OPERATOR account does not have windows access enabled, but I want to give the Operator the ability to reboot the workstation if it is required.  Is this possible without enabling Windows access?

  They can access Log Off Windows by clicking on the upper left corner of the Flexlock window, but I don't see any reboot option, at least on V11.3.

  This is a security feature enabled during workstation's hardening which is applied when DeltaV is installed. The settings related to Windows shutdown are set in Windows Local Policies when in Workgroup. I would not recommend changing these settings as they will reduce the protections on your system. You can request support from our Performance Services team to adjust these settings (to a certain extent) to meet your company's security policies.

  Once DeltaV Operate has been closed and you are looking at the DeltaV desktop with just Flexlock visible, try Ctrl + Alt + Del. On our workstations this brings up a standard Windows 7 dialogue which has a red button at the bottom right. The small arrow to the right of the button gives shutdown and reboot options.
