How to extract using bulk edit for Interlock / Condition in a module

Good day to all [:D],

I need to make a documentation regarding my system interlock for each Stream. I would like to get the easiest way to do rather than type it manually one by one to my MS Excel.

Your help is highly appreciate it.

Thanks

  • Hi Raimi
If you know Visual Basic language and Xml objects, you could :
    - select all the modules you want to document and create a FHX file with.
    - Download this free tool "FHX to XML translator" at www.template.fr/.../downloads.php (need to register freely)
    - Convert your FHX file to XML format
    - Proceed with VB to explore Xml data

Jack, does this work on a Version 12 FHX file?
  • Hi Raimi, my old friend.
You can create a Bulkedit Format file and export the expressions of your IL condition blocks. Use the DESC and TIME_DELAY attribute too.
Best if the Interlocks start all with the same number (CND1,CND2,...) be in a composite like PCSD INTERLOCK . That make it easier to find the right CNDxx Function-Blocks.
I think you have it like this.
Expressions can be Bulk-Exported in an excel target, Access table (memo-field) or text-file. Textfiles might be the easiest and can be copy / paste later into Excel on your office PC, if Excel is not installed on the Pro+.
Import is, so far I know, only possible with max 255 chars per expression.
You can contact me also direct on WhatsApp
