Reading module parameter to determine area

Is there a module parameter that will give you the area the module is assigned to? I can't seem to find it in any documentation. For example, the DESC parameter can give you the tag name via DVSYS.@MOD@/DESC.A_TAG. Is there one for area?

I was looking into having a faceplate that will display different items depending on plant area.

  Not sure about the area, but the module/UNITNAME parameter gives you the name of the parent unit.

  Thanks. That only seems to work for modules inside a Batch Unit unfortunately.

  The UNITNAME parameter is populated automatically when the module is located as a subordinate module under a batch or continuous unit.

  I didn't get why you need a faceplate showing area names per module.

  
  

  With my understanding, You may write a custom VBA code for this requirement. Get references from TagSearch utility which I guess provides the area name when user type in any characters in the search box.
