Hello,
I have task to move about 200 modules (in different areas) to a new existing areas. We are doing some alarm management and need to makes sure the right alarm activates for the right area. All this must be done on a live operating plant.
I moved a few modules with the following process
1. Cut module_A from Area_A
2. Paste module_A in Area_B
3. Download module_A (of course after notifying Operator and performing pre-caution checking.
Is this the right way move one module from one area to another? Is there an easier and faster method for the remaining modules I have to move?
Thank you,

Thank you Alfred for responding.
After I drop the modules in the destination area, do I have to download each module? Or do I download Change Setup Data on each controller?
Thank you kindly

Thank you Youssef,
So, I can export all the modules, and then import them to the destination Area?
I never use single table of config before
Thanks
I never use single table of config before. Can you please explain this process? I have Guardian Support, maybe I can call them and they can walk me through the process.
Some comments:
1. Do as Alfred suggest and select module(s) and just drag and drop
2. You can use Bulk Edit as Youssef suggested as well:
2. Ensure that the new area assignments for the modules have that area assigned to the continuous historian and you will need to download the continuous historian but unsure if not using the DeltaV Historian.
3. Download the modules that have moved
4. Download "Changed Setup Data" on the Proplus
