fieldbus transmitter 3051

i have this field bus transmitter that was decommissioned, and each time i try to commission it i get a message "unable to get device information from the data base"   using a calibrator 475, the device address is at 248 and grayed out.

please advice thanks

  Are you attempting to commission this transmitter on DeltaV? Address 248-251 means it is "offline". In this case, do a "place in standby", and then commission.

  i did a place in standby as you suggested, then drag and drop into the place holder but this error message pops up saying " unable to get device information from the data base"
  while it was on standby the address was 233 to confirm as in your diagram, the place holder has address as 34. thanks for taking your time.
