Good day.
I am new to Emerson DCS. I am trying to connect my PC (windows 7) to the application station (windows XP SP2) through DeltaV reporter excel add-in. I have installed the .Net compatibility first and then the DeltaV Reporter. I am sure I have followed the steps correctly.
When I start the excel add-in by keying in the IP address of application station, I can search the tags without any problem. But when I click "OK" or "Try it", I am receiving an error. Please find the screen shot below.
I am sure this issue will not be new to many of them and I am expecting to get a solution very soon.
