Cannot force an Internal Parameter in Control Studio Debug Mode

Dear All, There is a diffuculty I am facing related to the forcing internal parameter in Control Studio. Whenever I am trying to force the value of the internal parameter configured as external reference with I/O category I get the RT_INVALID_PATH, The object path is invalid. Please could anyone explain or guide me on finding the reference document on which function blocks/parameters can be forced? I have looked at BOL  but without sucess. Thanks.

  You cannot force an internal parameter configured to external reference but you can force the input of a certain function block such as a DC Block. The reason behind that is to be able to see the actual value of the external parameter while doing the forcing.
