Escape character for Batch Journal

Does anyone know if there is an escape character for the batch journal?  I want to display a string with quotation marks in the batch journal, such as

2.0" Gasket

But what I get is

2.0 Gasket

Any way to get the quotation marks to display?

  Try using the ˮotherˮ quotation marks.... If you open character map in Windows (charmap), click advanced view, and enter ˮdoubleˮ in the search field, you'll see a few different characters that look like quotations but are not reserved characters. Use these instead, and they should be preserved in the batch journal. In fact, you can copy the ˮ I used in this post.

  That's a really good idea and I'll give that a try too. It also looks like if you have quotes in pairs, the second one is displayed. So to get my example from the original post, I would need
  2.0"" Gasket.
