Escape character for Batch Journal

Does anyone know if there is an escape character for the batch journal?  I want to display a string with quotation marks in the batch journal, such as

2.0" Gasket

But what I get is

2.0 Gasket

Any way to get the quotation marks to display?

Thanks.

  • Try using the ˮotherˮ quotation marks.... If you open character map in Windows (charmap), click advanced view, and enter ˮdoubleˮ in the search field, you'll see a few different characters that look like quotations but are not reserved characters. Use these instead, and they should be preserved in the batch journal. In fact, you can copy the ˮ I used in this post.

That's a really good idea and I'll give that a try too. It also looks like if you have quotes in pairs, the second one is displayed. So to get my example from the original post, I would need
    2.0"" Gasket.
