DeltaV Serial card and ring topology

Does DeltaV serial card supports ring topology, without use of any additional drivers from Mynah? The end user wants to connect 3 devices to deltav serial card in a ring. Is it possible?

  Hi,

  personally I have never seen that you could connect serial communication in a ring.

  You can connect RS-485 as multidrop configuration.

  

  If you want a "redundant" ring you have to use additional hardware to do that for example:
