We have a standalone sim / development system we are trying to make equal to the site system.
The development system consists, Sim platform, two XP machines (Pro & eng station), DV 10.3, controllers.
The process followed and the failure is below (takes place on the development system)
During point 4) workstation configuration application generates a Db error.
‘an error occurred while adding/configuring this workstation to the deltav database. Failed to open a database. Error code:c0043caa’
From this step on no other DV application will start (e.g. explorer, control studio, DB admin).
It is necessary to restart the DV service using windows admin tools to then use any DV application.
(It appears the workstation configuration tool fails to restart the database)
When the new database is switched back to the previous copy (set active database) , it is no longer possible to successfully download the Pro, as DeltaV reports a workstation configuration must be first run.
How to successfully establish the Pro & one eng station in the new database? ...When workstation configuration fails.

have you checked the paths...?
Had similar problems with importing an old fhx were the Pro was installed on C: and E: drive...
Ended up overwriting the new proplus complete dvdata folder on D: \ E: drive with the old ones.. then I could work with them.
Propabbly there is some type .INI file were the original paths were set?
