Engineering Seat Licenses

I'm getting conflicting data from different sources, about the new "Floating: engineering seat licenses that are available.  Some have said that they will only work with Version 12 some say it will work back to version 10.  Does anyone know for sure?

  Floating Engineering Seats are part of our v12 Licensing changes.  It is only compatible with version 12.

  In v11, the Pro Station license went to a Full Span of control, and no longer based on assigned DST's.  This license I beleive is usable on v10 systems, along with the Operator Station Full Span of control change.  The floating seat is a v12 feature only.

  I know this is not quite the same thing, but it could be the source of the confusion.  I've been running engineering licenses on Server sessions from the Pro+ since Version 8 or 9.  For being able to do engineering work from anywhere on the nextwork where you can get on the PlantLAN, it worked well and had a similar function.
