SFC transitions

Are there any scenarios where a disabled transition is ignored and the SFC continues to advance to the next step?

  • The only way the SFC would proceed past a disabled transition is if someone forces the disabled transition or stops the sequence, deactivates the current step and activates the next step. All of these are manually done unless somewhere in the system is setting these parameters typically set manually with logic.

These manual actions (Force, stop, deactivate, etc) would get captured by the event log so you could see who/when/where did these changes and if logic is setting these parameters there is no log of these getting set.
