Real-time Incident Notification Helps Prevent Equipment Damage

I am often asked by customers. “How can we be immediately notified of a possible failure?”

My answer is this: There is an AMS Snap-On that sends customized alerts via text message and email. Alerts can be sent to management, maintenance personnel, and can also be sent directly to operators. When operators are trained to take appropriate action, they can help you prevent equipment damage and even help prevent costly and dangerous incidents

Here is a recent example: There was an inlet flow situation of a compressor where an Emerson Rosemount 3051 detected differential pressure using the predefined set point that was determined to be outside the transmitter capability.

AMS alert monitor notified the assigned personnel of the situation. Alert Track notified them through other means (cell phone) and without being in front of a HMI, they were able to see the situation and take action.

Any devices that AMS can communicate to, Alerts Track will work with.
