A broadband supercontinuum fiber source that spans wavelengths from 2 microns up to 10 microns.

Recently we have been developing a broadband supercontinuum fiber source that covers a wide range of wavelengths approximately from 2 microns up to 10 microns with an output power close to 10 mW.

I would like to know if such a laser source can be suitable for gas analysis applications?
