One of the most overlooked parts of configuring periodic review is deciding if you want the documents to suspend. A lot of times it sounds good on paper, but sites generally don’t want the documents to suspend (Not able to print) they really just want to know what needs to be reviewed. So with a small adjustment you can disable this ability. Another it regarding periodic review that always gets over looked is EMAIL!!! Nobody wants to receive 100 emails a day; currently the system will send an email out for every document. What always ends up happening SPAM. So what can we do to resolve this issue a report is always a great solution, pull it when you need it. Change the frequency of the emails to maybe once a week.
