Hi,
Currently a DeltaV Live Display is "Locked" by me on another workstation. But when I check DeltaV Live Administration and Database Administration, Graphics Studio is not open anywhere. Does anyone know is there a process/service/task I need to end (maybe from task manager) to release it?
Thanks,
Donal

When you launch Graphics studio and try to open this display, it indicates it is locked by another user, even though there is no other Graphics Studio session running. Using the DeltaV LIve Administration tools, use the database connections icon to view the connections. If you see a Connection that does not align with any open connections, you can close that connection and liberate whatever was locked by it. You can use the date Time of the connection to determine which is the "abandoned" connection, or you can close out all current Graphic Studio sessions and the one remaining is the one to remove. Restarting the services after applying a WS hotfix would also remove this lock, but you shouldn't have to take that drastic an action to simply remove a session locking a display.
