Process History View Trends having issue.

I am having issue with the trends not opening on workstations with the administrator login.

Process history view is operating fine but while trying to open trends or creating new trends, it keeps on loading but the screen does not appear and the system hangs, after some time i have to end the task to allow all other things to operate normally.

What might be the issue causing this and what its resolution?

    But seriously, what version of DeltaV are you using? Best practice is you should not be using the Administrator account. Or did you mean "an" administrator account that you created? There's a difference. The default Administrator account is a security risk and in later DeltaV versions, this account is limited.

    If you find that PHV trends work as expected with user accounts that you have created in DeltaV, then retire that Administrator account and use the accounts you've created. Let us know more details about your system: Version, Domain or workgroup, Account, What works, what doesn't, does this happen on all nodes, some nodes, local machines, RDP sessions?

    And you likely should file a call with the GSC to get to the bottom of this more quickly than asking an open forum.
