SGCR Signal Characterizer Unused Rows

What do you do if you don't need all 21 rows of the SGCR block? In DeltaV 14.3.1 it won't allow me to adjust the dimensions of CURVE_X or CURVE_Y parameters. Do you pad the unused rows with the same value?

    If the characterization is linear, you can just increase the resolution. If it's not linear, estimate the equation and plug in values and extrapolate

    or complete all the last un-used points by the value of last point used

    Yes you would just put the same values for the end to completely fill the array. If there isn't enough values then you would find parts that are linear and have a few points here and then use the others to address the non linear areas as Jack was indicating.

    Thanks. That's what I figured I just though it was odd that the Dimensions box would be there if you can't actually adjust the dimensions. I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
