My Deltav 12.3.1 Proplus got down because of Power failure. Now I am not able to open DV explorer. It gives RPC error. Documents say database is corrupted and nothing can be done. Can anyone suggest way to recover the database in this situation.

Rajat
Hi,
You could try to do a rerun workstation configuration....?
read : technet.microsoft.com/.../2007.07.howitworks.aspx
You could also try to do a repair of the databse with database administration..
Do you see any strange fault messages in the Logs?
Are all of the services and processes runninng?
have you restared the computer after the crash?

No backup since last 3 weeks.
In reply to Niklas Flykt:
Thanks Niklas.
Yeah restarted the server. All services running. No strange logs as well.
I will go through the RPC error resolution - link shared.
Appreciate your help.
3 weeks old. Lot of work done after that.

Niklas , going through as suggested.
Will update once done.
HI,
you should really, really invest in UPS:ses.
You never know what willl happen if you cut the supply in the right moment, it may never start again.. or you have to reinstall everything :p
I agree with the UPS. I have a dedicated UPS for the ProPlus and I have the system and database back up daily at 7 am.
In reply to mikesteiger:
I would suggest purchasing on a UPS that has monitoring capability and communication capability to send an alert. This will help prevent this from happening.
If you have acronis, you can also do an image of your DeltaV Pro+. This will really speed up your recovery.
Keep us updated on this situation.
