Downloading AI Card

Hello,

I am running version 11.3.1.

If I made a change to one my my AI channel (for instance channel 8) and I down the the AI card, will my other channels be effected (like go to off for a half seconding) during the download or just the channel I updated some data on. I asking for precaution operations reasons.

  You should not see any issues with other channels. Only the channel you made the change to (Channel 8) will take a bump for a second or so.

  If this is a DeltaV AI card, you should not have any issues.  If you download to other IO types (such as Provox IO), all the channels can be impacted.
